This matcha whisk is made from natural bamboo, shaped and cut into fine prongs to create the structure needed for proper whisking. Its light golden tone reflects the natural material, with subtle variations in grain and color that make each piece slightly unique.

80-Prong Form (Usucha Style)

This whisk features approximately 80 prongs, a common configuration designed for preparing usucha (thin tea). The finer, more numerous tines help incorporate air more easily, creating a smooth texture with a light, even foam.

Craft & Material

Each whisk is carved and shaved from a single piece of bamboo. Because bamboo is a natural material and the process is manual, slight differences in tine thickness, spacing, curvature, and overall form are normal.

These variations do not affect function and are part of the character of tea tools.

• For best results, store on a kusenaoshi (whisk holder) to preserve the tine form
